As a golf and gardening enthusiast in his youth, Scott jumped at the opportunity to manage Mill River Lawn and Garden Supply, located in Bedford Hills, NY, in 1984. While getting started in the retail business he earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in Behavioral Science and a New York State Teaching Certificate from Mercy College, Dobbs Ferry, NY in 1985. Over the last 25+ years Scott has grown Metro from a three man operation to one that now supports a dozen employees on the Metro staff. To keep his fingers on the pulse of the industry, Scott has accounts in the Westchester/Fairfield County area. When not guiding Metro, he enjoys running, swimming, fishing, photography, watching his wife compete in racing, and catching a hockey game with his two sons.
Rich began working in the golf industry during his high school years at Heritage Hills Golf Club in Somers, NY under Todd Polidor. He went to Lynchburg College in Virginia then transferred to Manhattan College in Riverdale. After pursuing his college goals, he decided to join the family business in 2010. He has worked his way up in the company from making deliveries and keeping track of inventory, to now being one of our Long Island Sales Representatives, and Vice President.
In his free time he enjoys going to the shooting range, fishing, golfing, riding around with his pup (Baretta), spending time with his family, and eating his wife's cooking.
At an early age, Todd looked forward to joining the family business. In order to develop a better understanding of the industry, Todd worked summers of high school and college on the maintenance crews of Anglebrook Golf Club and Somers Pointe Country Club. As the years went on, Todd was hired as a Second Assistant at Anglebrook Golf Club where he was mentored by Lou Quick and Scott Imbro. This allowed him to partake in the vigorous daily schedule of a Golf Course Superintendent. After these Summers, Todd started working in the office at Metro. Todd went to Monmouth University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. After months of working inside, Todd went to Rutgers University for the winter course and to learn more about the business he looks to be a member of. Todd’s territory is the state of Connecticut.
In his free time Todd enjoys hanging out with friends, running and playing golf.

Since a young age Ted has always had a passion for the turf industry. At the age of twelve he began mowing lawns in his neighborhood, and continued to do so until he reached the age where he could work for a company. When he was just 16 years old, the opportunity arose for Ted to work with a local landscape maintenance company. During his time with them, Ted oversaw 100 accounts, and was able to gain many valuable skills in landscape, personnel management, and customer service. Ted went on to own his own business; attend SUNY Delhi's Turfgrass Management program; work for multiple golf courses and country clubs as an intern, spray technician, assistant superintendent, and superintendent; and now is a part of the Metro Turf Team as a Sales Representative. Ted strives everyday to exemplify what the Company is built on, and works to show his customers that they are his TOP priority!
Since Ted loves being outdoors so much, it is only fitting that his favorites hobbies are hunting, fishing, riding his ATV, and anything else that gets him out to explore the countryside!

Retta has as much fun out on the courses as anyone...especially, when she gets to see her fellow four legged friends! Her favorite activities include looking for food, hanging out of the window, chasing geese and small animals, sitting in the sun, and catching the occasional snooze when nothing is going on.
